The 6th European Youth Games for the Disabled Emil Open 2017 are getting closer and we cannot wait for all the excited athletes to meet in Brno again and pit themselves against each other.
“This year we want to welcome 800 participants from 17 European countries and provide them not only with free accommodation and food, but also with a professional background that will allow them to experience the unique atmosphere of an international sport event,” says Veronika Kuchtová, the Organising Committee Vice President.
In order to help the athletes’ dreams come true, we need your help. We have started a campaign at the crowd funding portal hithit.cz where you can support Emil Open and choose from a wide range of attractive rewards. Would you like to go on a trip with the Paralympic Champion Jiří Ježek? No problem. Would you like to peak into the backstage of the talk show “Show Jana Krause”? We will take you there! And there is much more. You can become a patron of the Emil Foundation or of the individual sport disciplines during the Games, you can take a selfie with an awesome band The Tap Tap, or contribute with a smaller amount of money just for the good feeling.
Children and youth under 26 can participate in five disciplines – athletics, boccia, table tennis, golf, and swimming. During the Emil Open 2017 there will also be presentations of other sports and an accompanying program for the entire family.
This year’s Emil Open simply cannot happen without you. So, let’s move the wing for a good cause!
