The city council of Brno-Centre approved a 100% discount on the rent of an indoor pool under the management of the Kraví hora Sport and Recreation Complex on 8 – 9 June 2017 for participants of the 6th European Youth Games for the Disabled EMIL OPEN and also contributed a subsidy for the organization of the event Emil Foundation, based at Malinovsky nam. 603/4, 602 00 Brno, amounting to CZK 50,000.
"I am very glad that we have approved the help for this year's European Youth Games of disabled young people EMIL OPEN at the council meeting. To support sport and support for handicapped people should be one of the priorities of each town hall, not only ours. I wish all the athletes self-confidence and courage this week, whether in our swimming pool at Kraví hora or anywhere else in Brno, a lot of successes, but also a lot of joy from sports, from meetings with other people and nice memories that they will take from Brno, "said Martin Landa, Mayor Brno-Centre.
