It is a great honour and pleasure for me to support the 12th edition of the European Games for Disabled Youth Emil Open. This unique event celebrates the power of sport and resilience of spirit. In these difficult times, the Emil Open is a rare opportunity to show that determination and the desire to overcome obstacles are stronger than any difficulties.
Every athlete present at this event is proof that with dedication and an unwavering will, outstanding results can be achieved, both on and off the track. Emil Zátopek once said, "Victory is a great thing, but friendship is even better." These words can be an inspiration to all involved.
