It was a bit difficult way for golf within European Games of Handicapped Youth. Gold has become a part of Emil’s programme last year. “We had only two golfers. The one was a British successful golfer Ashley Harris,” says Veronika Kuchtová.
Anyway, there were three categories – Open, Masters and Mix. “It was more likely a presentation for children who hadn’t known golf yet,” explains Kuchtová.
This year, seven Swedish, three British and one Czech golfer came to Brno.
“It is played just like classical game – 18 holes. Ashley Harris helped us a lot because he has lobbed at European federation of handicapped golfers. He managed to start up this sport within our Games,” encloses Kuchtová.
